1. Executive Summary

Every window, door and glazing assembly supplied through Dracon is independently type-tested, factory-audited, certified at component level and delivered under a 10-year back-to-back manufacturer warranty. This dossier sets out that system in full, with the document references that substantiate each element.

The four commitments at the centre of this dossier:

First, independent verification, not self-declaration. Four full-scale systems tested to AS 2047-2014 by an accredited international testing laboratory.

Second, annual third-party audit. AGWA accredited compliance, audited by an AGWA Accredited Independent Auditor. AGWA is a NATA Accredited Inspection Agency, number 13739.

Third, certified supply chain. Bureau Veritas 'S' Mark and SAI Global StandardsMark licences covering the safety glazing and insulating glass unit streams.

Fourth, a warranty that reaches you. Ten years across frames, powder coating, insulating glass unit seals, hardware, water penetration and operational performance, flowing through to your project.

Key performance outcomes achieved under independent test:

Ultimate strength of ±3000 Pa held by every tested system with no collapse, no permanent deformation and no operational malfunction.

Deflection: every system passed the AS 2047 criterion of span/250 for windows and sliding doors, and span/100 for other doors, with substantial headroom.

Air infiltration as low as 0.01 litres per second per square metre at ±75 Pa.

Water penetration: no ingress at 450 Pa for the awning 65 Series, and no water penetration after 15 minutes at 600 Pa for the awning 100 Series.

Glass thermal performance: U-values from 2.66 watts per square metre Kelvin, with 76 percent visible light transmission, supporting NatHERS 8-star outcomes and NCC 2022 energy compliance.

2. The Parties, and Why the Structure Protects You

The procurement partner is Dracon International Trading HK Co., Limited, based in Wan Chai, Hong Kong SAR.

The manufacturing partner is T1-WDS, a Tier 1 manufacturer of window and door systems based in Shanghai. Supplier identity is disclosed under written agreement.

The tested systems entity is T1-TSE, affiliated to the Tier 1 manufacturer, and holds the type-tested system basis.

The AGWA accredited member holds Member Number 1101. The WERS accredited member holds Member Number 459.

Manufacturing partner capability:

The manufacturing partner operates over 5,000 square metres of processing area, with production capacity of 7,000 to 10,000 square metres per month. The facility employs more than 50 skilled personnel and distributes to over 10 countries.

Quality gates in production include raw material double-check on warehousing, powder thickness and surface treatment inspection, corner joint clearance inspection at every process, and finished window inspection before dispatch.

Why the commercial structure protects the client:

Dracon sits between the client and the factory as procurement partner, holding the back-to-back manufacturer warranty. The manufacturer's obligations flow through to the client's project rather than resting with the client directly. Clause 18 of the Master Back-to-Back Manufacturer Warranty Agreement confirms that the benefit of warranty sits behind Dracon's downstream project obligations and does not reduce the manufacturer's obligations. The client deals with a single counterparty, in the client's own time zone, under one warranty instrument.

Dracon's supplier and factory relationships are protected by a non-circumvention framework. This dossier deliberately references suppliers by role code rather than by name, so that the compliance evidence a client needs can be assessed in full without exposing the supply chain that Dracon has developed over fifteen years. Supplier identity, audit records and factory access are made available to a client on engagement under written agreement.

4. The Compliance Model — Eight Gated Stages

This is the methodology applied to every project, from design through to handover. No stage is optional, and no stage can be closed without its documentation.

Gate One — System basis and design. Approved shop drawings, technical schedules and the project specification define the supplied system: framing, thermal break, glazing, drainage and pressure equalisation, corner assembly, hardware integration and weather sealing.

Gate Two — Standards basis. Systems are nominated against AS 2047, AS 1288, AS/NZS 2208, AS 4666, AS 3715 and the National Construction Code. Equivalent standards are accepted only with Dracon's prior written approval.

Gate Three — Supplier approval and due diligence. Supplier-level vetting on every material stream. Due diligence forms, supplier guarantee letters and safety data sheets are held for each supplier.

Gate Four — Third-party type testing. Independent laboratory performance testing of full-scale assemblies to AS 2047-2014 and test method AS/NZS 4420.1-2016.

Gate Five — Factory quality control and traceability. Raw material double-check on warehousing, powder thickness and surface treatment inspection, corner joint clearance inspection at every production process, and finished window inspection. Batch and production-line identification is captured on the certification schedules.

Gate Six — Pre-shipment documentation gate. Quality documentation is provided before shipment, including written maintenance requirements for coastal and corrosive environments.

Gate Seven — Warranty and defect management. A 10-year warranty matrix with defined defect response times. Latent defects are not extinguished by acceptance, payment, installation or occupation.

Gate Eight — Installation and milestone inspection. Installation proceeds against approved shop drawings and supplied installation instructions, with third-party engineering inspection at defined hold points. The same documentation standard is applied to the wet area testing regime.

What the system basis means in practice:

The system basis is the tested configuration of a system — its framing, thermal break, glazing make-up, drainage and pressure equalisation design, corner assembly method, hardware integration and weather sealing. Type testing is performed against that configuration, and production is released against the same basis.

Every project is therefore checked against the tested basis at Gate One. Where a project dimension, configuration or performance requirement falls outside the tested range, the requirement is identified at design stage and referred for engineering review — and where necessary, additional testing — before production release. The assembly delivered to site is the assembly that was type-tested or expressly reviewed against that basis.

The testing laboratory is an accredited international testing laboratory based in Shanghai, China.

The product standard is AS 2047-2014, Windows and external glazed doors in buildings, Amendment 2-2017.

The test method is AS/NZS 4420.1-2016, covering deflection, operating force, air infiltration, water penetration and ultimate strength.

Document control reference is LFT-APAC-SHF-OP-10a.

Issue dates are 12 February 2018 for reports BP-1, BP-2 and BP-3, and 13 February 2018 for BP-4.

Samples tested were full-scale assemblies supplied by the manufacturer, as manufactured and glazed.

Performance results by tested system:

Report BP-1 covers the Awning Window 65 Series, measuring 1200 by 1500 millimetres, with an area of 1.80 square metres. Design wind pressure was ±1200 Pa. Deflection was measured at 1/835 for the stile and 1/2750 for the handle-side rail. Air infiltration at ±75 Pa was 0.07 and 0.04 litres per second per square metre. There was no water ingress at 450 Pa, and the system was tested to 600 Pa. Ultimate strength was ±3000 Pa with no collapse.

Report BP-2 covers the Awning Window 100 Series, measuring 1200 by 1800 millimetres, with an area of 2.16 square metres. Design wind pressure was ±1600 Pa. Deflection was measured at 1/614 for the stile and 1/2650 for the handle-side rail. Air infiltration at ±75 Pa was 0.01 and 0.01 litres per second per square metre. There was no water penetration after 15 minutes at 600 Pa. Ultimate strength was ±3000 Pa with no collapse.

Report BP-3 covers the Sliding Door 100 Series, measuring 2700 by 2700 millimetres, with an area of 7.29 square metres. Design wind pressure was ±1200 Pa. Deflection was measured at 1/293 for the mullion and 1/1214 for the handle-side stile. Air infiltration at ±75 Pa was 0.34 and 0.34 litres per second per square metre. There was no ingress at 200 Pa, and the system was tested to 300 Pa. Ultimate strength was ±3000 Pa with no collapse.

Report BP-4 covers the Hinge Door 100 Series, measuring 1100 by 2700 millimetres, with an area of 2.97 square metres. Design wind pressure was ±1200 Pa. Deflection was measured at 1/994 for the handle-side stile and 1/1263 for the bottom rail. Air infiltration at ±75 Pa was 0.03 and 0.04 litres per second per square metre. There was no ingress at 200 Pa, and the system was tested to 300 Pa. Ultimate strength was ±3000 Pa with no collapse.

Deflection performance against the AS 2047 requirement:

Each system's measured deflection is expressed as a percentage of the maximum deflection permitted by AS 2047 for that product type — span/250 for windows and sliding doors, span/100 for doors other than sliding. Lower is better; every system sits well beneath the limit.

Operating force measured under test:

The Awning Window 65 Series measured 7 Newtons to open and 3 Newtons to close.

The Awning Window 100 Series measured 11 Newtons to open and 9 Newtons to close.

The Sliding Door 100 Series measured 121 Newtons to open and 74 to 73 Newtons to maintain movement.

The Hinge Door 100 Series measured 10 Newtons to open and 8 Newtons to close.

Every tested system passed the AS 2047 deflection criterion with substantial headroom. The hinge door's most loaded member measured 1/994 against a span/100 requirement, and the ultimate strength test was passed by all four systems at ±3000 Pa with no significant breakage, no permanent deformation and no operational malfunction. Deflection ratings achieved include N5 and N6.

7. Glazing — Certification with Full Material Traceability

Two independent certification bodies cover the glass supply chain. Between them they provide line-level traceability for every pane supplied.

9. Adhesives, Sealants, Coatings and Timber

The compliance discipline extends to the materials behind the façade — the adhesives, coatings, resins and timber that hold and finish the assembly. Suppliers in this section are referenced by role code only.

Glue — AAS (approved adhesive supplier). The Safety Data Sheet for "Glue A", Version 1.0, dated 22 February 2022, was prepared under Regulation (EC) No 1907/2006, as amended by (EU) 2020/878, and (EC) No 1272/2008. Application is industrial use, wood splicing.

Water-borne wood coating BNG603 — ACS (approved coating supplier). The Material Safety Data Sheet, 8 pages, reference NB20160808001, dated 8 August 2016, has no risk classification, no pictograms and no signal word. It was prepared and audited by an independent materials testing laboratory under documented laboratory procedure.

White primed finger-jointed Radiata pine mouldings — ATS (approved timber supplier). The Supplier guarantee letter dated 27 November 2019 confirms all adhesives and gluelines are waterproof, formulated for finger jointing to 5.4 and 5.6 metre lengths, lamination of narrow laminas, and gesso primer bonding to wood fibre. It guarantees no finger-joint failure, no lamina delamination and no primer delamination.

Adhesive. The SGS test report CANML1714068705, internal reference CAN17-140687.003, dated 27 July 2017, covers EURO EN and GB adhesive standards with authenticated sample photography.

Timber resin. The supplier due diligence form confirms the supplier is approved and documented under the supplier due diligence process.

Aluminium extrusion — 6063-T5 powder-coated profile. The material certificate confirms the certified alloy and coating specification is held on file.

Additional safety documentation held includes CLP SDS Glue A in English and Chinese versions, MSDS Wood Coating, and a 2024 safety data sheet for the current adhesive formulation. Each record carries a unique, verifiable document identifier.

10. Hardware, Fixings and the One-Key System

Hardware is warranted for 10 years — locks, rollers, hinges, handles, restrictors and Doric hardware where specified — against manufacturing defect and operational failure.

A single master-key system is supplied across windows, doors and entry hardware, so one key operates the whole building envelope rather than a collection of different cylinders. Locks, handles and cylinders are sourced and warranted as one integrated system, with replacement components, compatible hardware and matching finishes guaranteed commercially available for a minimum of 10 years under clause 17 of the warranty agreement.

Down to the screws:

Every screw, fastener and fixing component supplied for external windows and doors is minimum Grade 304 stainless steel as a contractual minimum — a written warranty term rather than a best-practice aspiration. For coastal or severe exposure, the process identifies the requirement in writing before production begins and specifies Grade 316 stainless steel where the exposure demands it. Any corrosion, staining or premature deterioration resulting from a non-compliant supplied fixing is itself a warranty defect.

Powder coating specification:

The average dry film thickness requirement is not less than 60 micrometres. The minimum local reading is not less than 40 micrometres. The target on exposed architectural surfaces is 70 to 80 micrometres. Pretreatment and curing use approved, documented processes. The coating is warranted against peeling, blistering, flaking, abnormal fading, loss of adhesion, and corrosion resulting from defective coating application.

11. The Warranty Architecture — 10 Years, Back-to-Back

The instrument is the Master Back-to-Back Manufacturer Warranty Agreement for Aluminium Windows, Doors and Related Systems.

The buyer and procurement partner is Dracon International Trading HK Co., Limited. The manufacturer and supplier is T1-WDS, the Tier 1 manufacturer of window and door systems in Shanghai.

The scope covers aluminium windows, doors, frames, glazing systems, finishes, hardware, screens, fixings and related supplied components.

The instrument is bilingual in English and Chinese.

The structure is a standing master warranty framework applying to all projects, purchase orders, quotations, approved shop drawings, technical schedules and supply arrangements.

Warranty periods:

Aluminium extrusions, frames and fabrication are warranted for 10 years. Powder coating is warranted for 10 years. Insulated glass unit seals are warranted for 10 years. Hardware, including Doric where supplied, is warranted for 10 years. Water penetration is warranted for 10 years. Operational performance is warranted for 10 years.

What the agreement commits the manufacturer to, on your behalf:

Clause 3 confirms products comply with approved shop drawings and specifications, use approved materials and components, are free from defects in materials and workmanship, comply with nominated standards, are suitable for the intended application, are manufactured under documented quality control procedures, and are properly packed for export transportation and delivery.

Clause 5 confirms the supplied system is engineered and manufactured against approved shop drawings, the project specification and the tested or approved system basis, covering framing, thermal break, glazing, drainage and pressure equalisation, corner assembly, hardware integration and weather sealing.

Clause 6 confirms compliance with AS 2047, AS 1288, AS/NZS 2208, AS 4666, AS 3715 and the National Construction Code. Equivalent standards are accepted only with Dracon's prior written approval.

Clause 7 warrants powder coating against peeling, blistering, flaking, abnormal fading, loss of adhesion and coating-caused corrosion, to the controlled film specification.

Clause 8 warrants water resistance for ten years, covering manufacturing defects, fabrication defects, drainage defects, sealant failure within the supplied system, and defective frame assembly.

Clause 9 warrants all supplied hardware against manufacturing defect and operational failure for ten years.

Clause 9A confirms all screws, fasteners and fixings within scope for external windows and doors are minimum Grade 304 stainless steel unless the project specification requires higher. Grade 316 is specified in writing before production where coastal or severe exposure applies.

Clause 11 states that "Acceptance of the goods, shipment, payment, installation, practical completion, occupation of the works, or use of the products shall not relieve the Manufacturer of responsibility for latent defects discovered during the warranty period."

Clause 12 confirms written maintenance requirements are provided before shipment for coastal, corrosive or otherwise severe environments, covering cleaning frequency, lubrication, hardware care and coating care.

Clause 14 confirms defect claims are acknowledged within 5 working days, with an initial assessment within 10 working days, and an expedited response for urgent weather-tightness or safety-related issues.

Clause 16 confirms a full quality documentation package is provided or made available before shipment.

Clause 17 states that "The Manufacturer shall use reasonable commercial efforts to ensure that replacement components, compatible hardware, matching finishes, and equivalent supplied fixings remain commercially available for a minimum period of ten (10) years from supply." This is the manufacturer's commitment to Dracon, and it is enforceable by Dracon under the agreement on behalf of the client.

Clause 18 states that "This warranty is issued by the Manufacturer to Dracon and may be relied on by Dracon in support of its obligations to its own clients and project counterparties. The Manufacturer acknowledges that this warranty is intended to sit behind Dracon's downstream project warranty obligations and does not reduce or limit the Manufacturer's obligations to Dracon."

Clause 20 establishes a standing master warranty framework that remains in force across all projects, with project documentation read together with it.

12. Wet Areas, Tiling and Interior Works — The Same Regime Applied

The compliance discipline built for the window and door envelope is the same discipline applied across the construction and finishing scope. Bathroom tiles, wet areas and interior finishes are procured, tested and documented on identical principles.

Supplier approval and due diligence is required before any material is accepted onto a project — the same vetting process applied to the glass, adhesive, resin and coating suppliers.

Independent laboratory testing with SGS-grade verification and authenticated sample records is held on file for each material.

Certified products and current test reports are maintained with unique document references, so every material on site traces back to a documented origin.

A wet area testing regime covers waterproofing and substrate preparation at defined hold points, documented and inspected before the finishes close up.

The same warranty and defect-response framework is applied to the finished work as to the building envelope.

13. Design, Documentation and Logistics

Design team and documentation:

The design and documentation function operates on the approved-shop-drawing model. Every order is resolved into shop drawings, technical schedules and specifications before production releases. The supplied system is engineered against the tested or approved system basis, so the assembly delivered to site is the assembly that was type-tested rather than a site-modified variant.

Design, testing, certification, materials, quality control and warranty records are held as a single project file and cross-referenced by document number. Nothing is filed loose.

Logistics and delivery:

Products are packed for export transportation and delivery as a warranted obligation under clause 3(g) of the warranty agreement, not merely as a shipping preference. Quality documentation is prepared before shipment so that the site receives the compliance package in step with the goods.

Installation and site inspection:

Installation proceeds against approved shop drawings and the supplied installation instructions, with third-party engineering inspection at defined hold points through the build. Because the tested system basis, the installed product and the warranty instrument all reference the same drawings, the chain from factory test through to site sign-off remains unbroken.

14. Business Continuity and Supply Security

A procurement programme is only as reliable as the continuity behind it. Dracon's continuity framework is built into the compliance model rather than added to it.

The approved supplier panel means every material stream is qualified against its own approved supplier record, so a disruption in one production stream does not leave the project without a qualified alternative.

Documented records held by Dracon mean certification, test, materials, quality control and warranty records are held as a single project file, cross-referenced by document number, so the evidence base survives changes in personnel on either side.

Warranty continuity means the standing master warranty framework remains in force across all projects and is not project-by-project, with replacement parts and matching finishes supported for a minimum of ten years.

Production security before commitment means specifications, shop drawings, materials, finishes and production requirements are formally approved before manufacturing begins, and payment terms are structured around completion, independent QC and client approval of inspection documentation.

Single point of accountability means the client deals with one counterparty holding the back-to-back warranty, not with a factory 8,000 kilometres away.

15. Fifteen Years in Construction in China — What That Experience Buys You

Fifteen years of working in construction in China is not a marketing line. It is the reason this compliance model functions in practice.

Supplier relationships tested over time mean the glass, adhesive, coating and timber supply streams are long-standing, documented and repeatedly audited, not sourced per job from whoever is cheapest that month.

Factory discipline means over 5,000 square metres of processing area and 7,000 to 10,000 square metres per month of capacity, with quality control inspection at raw material intake, at every production process, at powder thickness and surface treatment, at corner joint clearance, and at finished window inspection.

A continuous certification history includes AGWA audited compliance across consecutive cycles, WERS compliance audits, AWA management system audits, and Bureau Veritas and SAI Global surveillance across the glass supply chain.

A long-running third-party testing record includes full-scale AS 2047 testing, SGS adhesive testing and materials safety documentation dating from 2016.

Documented, verified and authenticated records are maintained with unique reference numbers, so every assertion in this file can be checked against an original document.

The value to the client is risk removed before it reaches site. The system is tested before it is sold, the materials are certified before they are installed, the fixings and coatings are warranted by specification rather than by assurance, and a 10-year back-to-back warranty sits behind the whole package.

16. What This Means for Your Project

Independent verification, not self-declaration. Four full-scale systems tested to AS 2047-2014. AGWA — a NATA Accredited Inspection Agency, number 13739 — audits the management system and product compliance annually. The glass supply chain carries Bureau Veritas 'S' Mark and SAI Global StandardsMark licences.

Performance with genuine headroom. Every tested system held ±3000 Pa ultimate strength with no collapse, no permanent deformation and no operational malfunction, with deflection performance comfortably within the AS 2047 criterion and air infiltration as low as 0.01 litres per second per square metre.

Traceability at component level. Production line, furnace, interlayer brand, spacer system, sealant, desiccant, alloy grade and fixing grade are all specified, certified and documented.

A warranty that reaches you. Ten years across frames, powder coating, IGU seals, hardware, water penetration and operation — with Grade 304 stainless fixings as a contractual minimum, Grade 316 specified for coastal exposure, and the benefit of warranty flowing through to your project.

Supplier and factory identities are protected by Dracon's non-circumvention framework and are disclosed under written agreement only. Certification numbers, licence numbers and issuing bodies are stated in full for independent verification. Original certificates, test reports and warranty instruments are available on request.
