15 level Prefab Hotel 6 day build completion Changsha, China. 2010
Constructed in only 6 days, the New Ark Hotel is situated in BROAD Town, home of BROAD's factory, an organic farm, and many of our staff!
1% construction wastage. 200 site workers erected 15 story internal structure in just 46.5 hours! External construction
took another 90 hours, for a total of less than 6 days. Standard 9.0 earthquake while using one sixth the material and costing 20% less. BROAD's fresh aircon technology.
Composite
A combination of materials (e.g. steel, concrete, timber) are used together in the main structural elements. The buildings which steel columns with a floor system of reinforced concrete beams; a steel frame system with a concrete core; concrete-encased steel columns; concrete-filled steel tubes; etc. Where known, the CTBUH database breaks out the materials used in a composite building’s core, columns, and floor spanning separately.
