TEST LOAD beyond Scaffolding Compliance ASNZS 1576.3

We invited our NZ client to help load his first 3 scaffolding containers from new Chinese supplier, to approve and sign off on his order.

He suggested for fun to overload the planks to test their strength, 3m plank with a load of 1000kg. The factory didn’t understand this request as its way above the normal legal loading according to Australia NZ standards.

We did the test, I was intrigued, the factory was abit taken back, my client was excited. The success of the experiment gave our client 100% confidence his product is superior. This is important when selling scaffolding to his market, building a whole distribution into needy NZ with current construction boom. For my client, this is powerful tool.
